William Herbert Brown (1878-1959)
Herbert Brown trained in Glasgow. After serving in the RAMC during the Great War, he was chief of dermatology in the Victoria Infirmary of Glasgow until 1945, during which time he built up a large collection of clinical photographs of skin disease. He was a founder member of the North British (Scottish) Dermatological Society, and President of the British Association of Dermatologists.
